Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a high-paced environment. Shifts are 3 days a week, from 7 AM to 7 PM. The nurse will care for a diverse patient population with varying medical needs. Ratios are typically 1:4, ensuring efficient patient care. Every other weekend commitment is required. No on-call duty is required for this role. Travelers may need to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates who are first-timers are accepted for this role. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Request for time off must be included at the time of application. Approval will depend on facility needs. Compliance with all pre-start requirements is necessary. Documentation must be completed on time to ensure a smooth onboarding process. This role may require participation in emergency response during critical situations. Additional certifications and skills may be required based on unit needs. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff to provide comprehensive care. This role contributes to the overall healthcare delivery team and is designed to enhance patient outcomes.

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years License: State RN License or Compact License required prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience required Travel experience preferred
