Lecturer In Clinical Pharmacy

Role Description The Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy will deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to undergraduate students, ensuring alignment with the clinical pharmacy curriculum and accreditation standards. The role involves designing and updating course materials, developing assessments, grading student work, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning and progression. The lecturer will supervise student projects, participate in academic advising, and support students in developing clinical reasoning, professional ethics, and evidence‑based practice skills. Responsibilities also include engaging in scholarly activities or applied research, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental meetings, committees, and quality assurance processes. This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in New Egypt, NJ, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in university life. Qualifications Advanced degree in Clinical Pharmacy or a closely related field (PharmD or Master’s required; PhD or equivalent is highly desirable). Proven teaching experience in clinical pharmacy or pharmacy practice at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, with the ability to design and deliver engaging, student‑centered learning experiences. Recent or ongoing clinical practice experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or community pharmacy settings, with strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, patient counseling, and interprofessional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and update course syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessments in line with accreditation and professional standards. Evidence of scholarly activity, research participation, or quality improvement projects in clinical pharmacy, with willingness to contribute to the university’s research profile. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered education and the ability to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to balance teaching, assessment, student support, and departmental responsibilities. Familiarity with educational technologies and learning management systems, and openness to using innovative teaching and assessment methods.
