Shade Equipment is proud to offer a positive work environment, excellent benefits, and a company‐matched retirement plan. We are currently seeking a Skilled Installer with strong mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Position Overview
The Installer will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of commercial truck equipment, including:
- Snowplows
- Service Bodies
- Flatbeds
- Landscaper Bodies
- Dump Bodies
- Lift Gates
- Ladder Racks
- Hoists
- Dry Freight Van Bodies
- Work Van Interiors
- Tow Hitches
- Snow Equipment
- Salt Spreaders
- Additional truck‐mounted accessories
This work will be performed on truck chassis and pickup trucks. Basic knowledge of vehicle wiring is required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with welding and fabrication experience
- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems
- Excellent driving record
- Ownership of standard tools and a locking toolbox (some company tools provided)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including snow
- Reliable transportation
- Valid, current driver’s license (required)
- Ability to pass a forklift test following company‐provided forklift training
Position Details
- Full‐time, 40 hours per week
- Pay is based on experience, certifications, work history, and references
