Industrial Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Experienced) Manufacturing Industrial Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking Industrial Engineering team members to support Composite Manufacturing. The ideal candidates will possess strong strategic and creative‑thinking skills, use data and analytics to make recommendations on how to support and improve manufacturing and quality processes, collaborate within cross‑functional teams, establish partnerships with senior leaders, focus on production stability, implement lean methodologies, assess readiness requirements, and improve quality through structured root‑cause analysis reviews. Position Responsibilities Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to product, process, and services to meet program requirements. Maintain and develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations, and workflows. Support the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations. Design, maintain, and optimize the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel. Complete workflow design and analysis. Develop moderately complex models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders. Assist with research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality for large‑scale systems integration and asset utilization. Provide product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices. Prepare operations plans, including work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis, and production change plans to ensure technical goals and objectives are met. Support execution planning by using project management, planning, and scheduling and shop‑load practices. Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning support of moderate complexity. Reconcile compliance with established industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines. Export Control Compliance Requirement Position must meet export control compliance requirements; applicant must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field. Two or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, and/or production environment. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Three or more years of experience working in a team environment. Three or more years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles. Three or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership. Five or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements. Experience in project management. Proficiency in structured problem solving. Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Onsite This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Shift This position will primarily support 1st shift and may require support of 2nd and 3rd shift. Travel Travel is not a regular requirement of this position.
