Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU/Step Down FloatWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a PCU/Step Down Float RN. This position involves working in multiple unit settings, addressing the dynamic needs of a variety of patient populations.Position OverviewShift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (from 19:00 to 07:30)Start Date: As soon as possibleNurse to Patient Ratio: Varies from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on unit acuityResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings including telemetry, medical-surgical, and emergency room boarded patients.Float to different units as necessary to support patient care needs.Take on charge nurse responsibilities when assigned to specific small units, including managing staffing requirements, enhancing bed flow, and coordinating patient care.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.QualificationsMust have prior nursing experience in the United States; Canadian experience is not considered sufficient.Charge nurse experience is required.Ability to adapt to different unit environments and patient care needs.Experience with electronic health records, preferably EPIC.If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills in a flexible and dynamic nursing role, we encourage you to apply today.
