Job Responsibilities

Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or facility Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations Assist with inventory control, including scanning, counting, and labeling Maintain a clean and organized work area Read work orders, pick tickets, or shipping documents accurately Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Experienced with using manual tools and equipment, including pallet jacks and RF scanners. Capable of Handling Heavy Loads: Continuously lift, carry, and stack bags of pet food (up to 50lbs) for the duration of the shift. Comfortable with building pallets from the floor up. Ability to perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Must be light on their feet, with the ability to move quickly and safely throughout the warehouse. Must maintain high situational awareness and always stay alert to identify and respond to auditory and visual safety signals, such as forklift horns, back-up alarms, and verbal warnings. Ability to perceive and react immediately to environmental cues to ensure personal safety and the safety of the team in a heavy-machinery environment.
