Manufacturing; MEPOwnership: 100% employee-owned (ESOP)Travel: Up to 20%Work Schedule: Full-time hybridSponsorship: Not availableWhat You'll DoTechnical PathLead design efforts for the analysis and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for moderate to complex projects.Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software and tools in line with code requirements and IMEG standards.Perform site assessments and generate technical analyses and reports.Partner with clients to gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build strong working relationships.Review system designs, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence, and apply quality control processes to support standards compliance.Provide technical training and mentoring, and assist with resolving field issues with limited support from senior staff.Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify potential safety risks associated with mechanical systems.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions and participate in project interviews and presentations.Project Management PathCoordinate, oversee, and manage projects ranging in size and complexity.Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work, fee calculations for proposal generation, and contract reviews.Create project schedules with milestone targets and deadlines, and serve as the point of contact for teams and clients.Create monthly billings, submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner, and update billing projections and estimated completion percentages monthly.Ensure design follows owner standards and requirements, IMEG standards, and code requirements, and ensure milestone deliverables, quality control processes, and construction technical support stay on track.Coordinate scheduling with design staff through all phases of design and construction, and schedule and lead progress meetings with documentation.Conduct construction site visits and provide documentation as needed or requested.Respond to and resolve client and construction concerns, and manage change orders and obtain appropriate approvals.Train, mentor, and motivate staff, and build, maintain, and develop client relationships.What You'll BringTechnical PathRequired for this trackAdvanced proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specificationsAdvanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics relating to mechanical design in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systemsStrong training, mentoring and leadership skillsProject Management PathRequired for this trackDemonstrated leadership traits in the project management career path;
