Junior Marketing Coordinator

The Junior Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Department by creating engaging content, assisting with social media management, updating website content, designing marketing materials, and coordinating marketing initiatives across multiple company entities. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is creative, organized, and eager to grow in a fast-paced marketing environment. The Junior Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Director and work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing needs of all company entities. Key Responsibilities Content Creation for Social Media Capture high-quality photos and videos at job sites, company events, and office locations. Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profiles. Develop creative ideas for social media campaigns and daily posts. Analyze social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and posting strategies. Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement alongside the Marketing Coordinator. Stay current on social media trends and recommend new content ideas. Graphic Design Design graphics for social media posts and digital campaigns. Create flyers, brochures, presentations, proposals, and event signage. Maintain brand consistency across all company entities. Website Management Maintain website accuracy, images, forms, and content. Assist with basic SEO updates and website improvements (training provided). Marketing Coordination Assist with organizing marketing projects and coordinating day-to-day marketing activities. Support promotional campaigns across multiple companies. Organize digital marketing assets and maintain marketing files. Assist with administrative marketing tasks as assigned. Assist with planning and executing networking events, business development events, community events, and company functions. Attend events as needed to support setup, content capture, and marketing activities. Full-time, in-office position. Work-from-home is not available. Travel throughout the Chicagoland area is expected to capture content, attend events, and support multiple company locations. Mileage is reimbursed according to the company's reimbursement policy for approved business travel. Preferred Qualification's Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with excellent time management. Creative mindset with an interest in content creation and digital marketing. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple industries and brands. Preferred Experience using Canva. Experience creating social media content for business accounts. Familiarity with Wix. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. While the typical work schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, flexibility is required based on business needs. Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required to capture project progress, attend networking events, support company functions, or create content at active job sites.
