Home Health Caregiver
Job Summary:
BrightCare HomeCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Caregiver to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Home Health Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care services to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care that is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications, as prescribed by a healthcare provider, and monitor client adherence to treatment plans
Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs
Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with mealtime activities
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their dignity and independence
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration
Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination
Participate in training and educational programs to stay current with industry best practices and standards
