Job Summary:

BrightCare HomeCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Caregiver to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Home Health Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care services to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care that is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Administer medications, as prescribed by a healthcare provider, and monitor client adherence to treatment plans

• Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, including use of equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs

• Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with mealtime activities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their dignity and independence

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination

• Participate in training and educational programs to stay current with industry best practices and standards
