Equipment Maintenance Shift Supervisor

WSD Fort Collins Equipment Maintenance C-Shift (S, M, T, alternating Weds, 6PM-6AM) Shift Supervisor As an Equipment Maintenance Shift Supervisor with the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD), you will collaborate with fab operations, equipment engineering, and equipment area teams to sustain and improve equipment reliability and performance while supporting overall safety, yield, reliability, and productivity goals. Key Responsibilities Lead the team to deliver safe, stable, and reliable equipment performance. Direct shift technician resources to meet evolving business needs. Serve as the escalation contact for emergency concerns, attendance, and other shift-wide issues. Collaborate with Equipment Maintenance Area Supervisors to implement global initiatives such as RTQ, PM Checklist, CMMS, LOTO, escalations, CribMaster, PM kits, and documentation review. Partner with Fab Operations supervisors to understand and meet customer and factory needs; allocate resources to highest-priority areas and readjust based on vacation, call-ins, training, or coverage issues. Resolve conflicts between PM schedules and reactive fab operations priorities; coordinate solutions to equipment issues early to prevent extended downtime. Encourage precision and excellence in maintenance, troubleshooting, and communication; conduct thorough observations of practices and adherence to protocols (including LOTO audits). Drive and support advanced troubleshooting and escalation for the shift. Ensure and support training and certification programs for equipment maintenance technicians; provide feedback on global training needs. Provide management intervention for any HR issue on the shift in the absence of the Equipment Maintenance Area Supervisor, coordinating with HR in a timely manner. Assist in measuring employee performance using the Quarterly Performance Form process. Drive and support equipment maintenance metric adherence, including communication and corrective action plans. Act as project/program manager for cross-functional needs (e.g., Hand Tools Calibration program, CribMaster program, Pack Mule improvement project, AMHS Delivery System). Manage projects to completion using the PDCA process. Participate in the selection and hiring of new technicians for your shift; actively manage the Equipment Support Team technicians. Serve as a sounding board and source of advice for employees at any career stage. Skills and Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Required: Associate in Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent. Preferred: 8-10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and related challenges. Preferred: Previous management experience in equipment maintenance with strong problem-solving, preventive maintenance planning, time management, and organizational skills. Proficient electrical and mechanical technical knowledge of equipment, analytical reasoning abilities, and proven track record of effectively managing a team of technical experts. Demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and ability to develop and mentor employees. Ability to balance long-term and short-term goals and manage competing priorities. Strong independent and collaborative work ethic in a fast-paced environment; experienced team player/leader. Conflict resolution skills and initiative to address and appropriately upscale problems for rapid resolution. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Required participation on Broadcom’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), including progression to ERT Incident Commander and event leadership. Data-driven and results oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $70,300 - $112,500. The position also qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus and equity awards in accordance with plan documents and agreements.
