Forget everything you think you know about retail. Back in '76, while the world was doing its thing, Sharon Sherman was busy building something different – a side hustle selling clocks and gifts with a whole lot of heart. Fast-forward nearly half a century, and Sherman's has blossomed into four locations packed with home appliances, furniture, and mattresses. Sure, we've grown beyond microwaves, but our family values? Rock solid. Show Concern. Have Fun. Be Helpful. DemonstrateIntegrity. Show Ambition. Develop Relationships. These aren't just words on a wall; they're the fuel that keeps us going. Why are we here? Because we're genuinely passionate about our community. We're the neighbors who help you turn houses into homes. And it all started because Sharon dared to be different. Now, about you. You’re not looking for a job where you stand around watching the clock. You like being busy. You like physical work. You take pride in doing things the right way. You’re dependable. You show up ready to work. And you believe the best teams are the ones where everyone steps up to help. So, What Does “Not Normal” Look Like Day-to-Day? Every day in the warehouse is a little different, but here’s what you can expect: Handle Large Products Safely load, unload, and move appliances, furniture, and other large items using pallet jacks, hand dollies, and order pickers. Prepare Deliveries Pick and stage orders for the next day’s deliveries so customers receive exactly what they ordered. Operate High-Reach Equipment Use order pickers to retrieve and stock items on shelves up to 30 feet high while following safety protocols. Keep the Warehouse Running Smoothly Maintain a clean, organized workspace and keep inventory flowing where it needs to go. Work as a Team Communicate with coworkers, jump in when someone needs help, and work together to hit daily goals. Stay Flexible You’ll have a primary shift, but you’ll also be cross-trained to help on the other shift when the team needs it. What Makes Someone Successful Here? Strong Work Ethic You show up on time, work hard, and take responsibility for your work. Team Mentality You believe good teams win together and help each other out. Attention to Detail Customers count on us to get orders right the first time. Positive Attitude You’re willing to learn, adapt, and keep improving. Physical Stamina This is a hands-on role that involves lifting and moving large items throughout the day. Comfort with Warehouse Conditions Our warehouse environment can include temperature changes and varying noise levels. The Bottom Line The warehouse team is a big part of what makes Sherman's special. It’s a group that works hard, jokes around, helps each other out, and takes pride in keeping things moving. If that sounds like your kind of crew, we’d love to meet you. Equal Opportunity Employer.
