Help Desk Specialist - IT

Overview This range is provided by Russell Tobin. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr Contract: 12 months (potential for extension or permanent hire) A large financial services company is looking for a IT Service Desk Agent to provide top-notch technical support. You'll be the first point of contact for IT issues, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Answer IT support calls and resolve issues quickly Provide excellent customer service with active listening and empathy Use a knowledge base and ticketing system to track and solve problems Communicate clearly via phone, chat, and documentation Collaborate with teams and follow company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED (plus relevant work experience) 2-5 years of chat support experience in a fast-paced setting Strong problem-solving skills & self-motivation Ability to troubleshoot software & hardware issues Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Finance and Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Russell Tobin
