Key Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized radiographic equipment for angiographic imaging, applying appropriate techniques and accessories to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform post-processing of images following established protocols.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards when handling radiation-producing devices.
• Prepare patients thoroughly for radiologic procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation such as patient consent and history is completed before procedures begin.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including pre-procedural care, sterile scrub duties, and post-procedural patient management.
• Set up sterile trays and maintain sterile technique during diagnostic procedures.
• Cross-train in hemodynamic monitoring to support comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe work environment, performing equipment checks and tests prior to use.
• Follow universal precautions and promote compliance among staff and physicians.
• Ensure accurate billing for procedures and supplies, promptly reporting any discrepancies to leadership.
• Utilize downtime effectively by assisting in other departments as needed to support organizational goals.

Education and Experience:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credentials such as ASCP certification preferred.
• Experience working in a high-pressure, team-oriented clinical environment is highly valued.
