Work Environment\n You will work remotely, allowing for a flexible schedule while maintaining collaboration with our clinical team. As part of a community health clinic environment, our counselors combine telehealth services with in-person support when necessary, ensuring accessibility and comfort for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish treatment goals tailored to the needs of each client. \n Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for teenagers and adults, employing various methodologies suited to their therapeutic needs. \n Facilitate play therapy for children affected by domestic violence and related trauma, utilizing best practices to create a supportive environment. \n Perform crisis intervention and develop action plans aimed at ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of clients. \n Provide ongoing community referrals and support to help clients access additional resources necessary for their recovery. \n Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of treatment records while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings, contributing to treatment planning and case discussions. \n Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during high-stress situations to assist clients in managing immediate challenges. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on working with adolescents and adults who are survivors of domestic violence, as well as providing therapeutic support to children in similar scenarios. Understanding the complex issues surrounding domestic violence will be crucial, along with the ability to create a nurturing space where clients feel safe to express their feelings and experiences. Your role as an advocate for these clients will empower them to reclaim control over their lives and foster resilience in overcoming trauma. Qualifications\n \n A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n An active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license is mandatory. \n Experience in individual and family counseling is essential. \n Ability to work some evenings (maximum until 8 PM at least two nights a week) is required. \n A valid driver’s license is needed for occasional in-person sessions or meetings. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience and demonstrated interest in Play Therapy services will enhance your application. \n Availability during weekends is preferred but not mandatory. \n Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care is beneficial. \n Prior experience working in community health or similar settings is an advantage. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
