Remote Control Software Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Remote Control Software Engineer to join the Remote Control Systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and validating embedded control and vision systems used in remote-control machine applications.

The role requires strong experience in Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, RTOS, system integration, controls, communication protocols, and verification & validation .

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink
• 5+ years of embedded systems development using RTOS
• 3-5 years of system integration experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Embedded Software Development, Integration, and Validation
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Requirements Engineering
  • System Architecture
  • Electrical Schematics
  • System Integration
  • Verification & Validation (V&V)
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, RTOS, CAN, Ethernet, and Embedded Control Systems
• Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, Git , and modern development/testing tools
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and learn quickly

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Autonomy, Robotics, Remote Control, or Machine Control Systems
• Familiarity with:
  • AUTOSAR
  • Functional Safety
  • FMEA
  • HIL/SIL Testing
  • DOORS or Jama
  • Automated Test Frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Define system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and end-to-end feature traceability
• Design, develop, integrate, and validate Remote Control Systems across software, hardware, controls, and communication networks
• Develop and maintain embedded software using Embedded C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink
• Perform system integration, testing, V&V, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Support functional safety, FMEA, product quality, and release activities
• Work with CAN and Ethernet-based communication networks
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with Remote Control System Engineers and global engineering teams
• Deliver robust, scalable, and production-ready embedded control solutions

Recommended Experience: 5-7+ years overall , with strong hands-on experience in embedded software development, RTOS, MATLAB/Simulink, and system integration.
