Job Description
A Leave-in Caregiver plays a vital role in supporting individuals who need ongoing assistance with daily activities and personal care at home. This position ensures clients maintain the highest possible quality of life through compassionate care, safety oversight, and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication reminders and assistance as needed
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
- Support mobility to prevent falls and encourage activity
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
- Monitor safety and respond promptly to emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of care and client condition
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in caregiving roles
