Security Installer

Responsibilities Meet customer expectations while performing quality installations. Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing, and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines, including competitive manufacturer’s product lines. Complete Install Acknowledgements with proper coding using communication devices, such as laptop computers or hard copy. Follow and maintain a highly structured installation schedule. Complete assigned installations on time. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Alarm Installer License. Must obtain a Texas Fire Alarm License within one year of the start date. Desired certifications: Ccure, Lenel, Kantech, Amag, Brivo, Hirsch, Genetec, ExacqVision, Bosch VMS, Bosch Intrusion, DMP Intrusion, Vista 128/250. 5+ years of experience. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals. Experience with hand tools, multimeter usage, and handheld power tools. Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs. Physical ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50–70 lbs. Ability to work in unusual or difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and occasional weekends. Occasional travel may be required. Excellent customer‑service skills. Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Hourly Range & Benefits Hiring hourly range: $23–$31. The hourly rate will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
