Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates and bid proposals for commercial electrical projects. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Complete quantity take-offs and pricing. Work with project managers throughout the bidding process. Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Assist with budgeting and value engineering. Project Types Medical facilities Broadcast facilities Project values: Up to $10M. Requirements 5+ years of estimating experience with an electrical contractor. Experience pricing commercial electrical projects in NYC. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods. Good communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Base salary of $130,000–$160,000 . Long-term career stability with an established contractor. Strong backlog of commercial projects across NYC.
