The assignment runs from December 16 through approximately June 21, providing you with a consistent daytime schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid teaching certification for Special Education (TOSD or equivalent)
• Experience working with high school-age students and diverse learning needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and implementation
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Energetic, adaptable, and compassionate mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure inclusive educational practices
• Track and report student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with behavioral interventions, transition planning, and student advocacy
