Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred. Job Duties Assist with routine preventive maintenance, repairs and installations of equipment and fixtures Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure proper function Respond to emergency maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored Communicate ongoing tasks and potential issues to the maintenance supervisor regularly Experience Requirements Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, welding and machinery, along with hand and power tools. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
