HR Generalist The Antwi Group

The Antwi Group is seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused Senior Human Resources Specialist / HR Generalist to join our Human Resources Department. Working under the direction of the Human Resources Department Manager , this position will support the day-to-day administration of human resources operations across The Antwi Group. The Senior HR Specialist / HR Generalist will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR policies and procedures, employee relations, performance-management processes, training coordination, and other workforce-related responsibilities. This position requires professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees and managers throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Work directly under the Human Resources Department Manager. Support daily Human Resources Department operations. Assist with implementing HR policies, procedures, and departmental standards. Provide HR support to employees and department managers. Assist with recruitment and candidate-management activities. Review applications and résumés for assigned positions. Participate in candidate screening and interviews when assigned. Assist with preparing employment-related documentation. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation. Help maintain employee personnel records and HR documentation. Maintain appropriate confidentiality of employee and company information. Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct complex matters to the HR Department Manager. Support performance-review and employee-development processes. Assist managers with appropriate HR procedures and documentation. Coordinate employee training and professional-development activities. Assist with attendance, leave, and employment-status records as assigned. Support employee-relations processes. Assist with employee offboarding and separation procedures. Maintain and update job descriptions and organizational information. Help prepare HR reports and workforce information. Assist with HR systems, applicant-tracking systems, and personnel databases. Monitor HR deadlines and required documentation. Help ensure departmental procedures are followed consistently. Provide guidance to HR Coordinators and HR Assistants when assigned. Identify HR matters requiring escalation to the Human Resources Department Manager. Coordinate with other departments on staffing and employee-related matters. Human Resources Administration The Senior HR Specialist / HR Generalist may support activities involving: Recruitment Candidate screening Interviews New-hire onboarding Employee orientation Personnel records Employee documentation HR policies Performance reviews Training and development Attendance and leave administration Employee communications Workplace concerns Offboarding HR reporting Workforce planning Specific responsibilities may vary depending on organizational and departmental needs. Employee Relations The Senior HR Specialist / HR Generalist will help maintain professional communication between Human Resources, employees, and department management. The position may assist with employee questions, workplace concerns, performance discussions, policy interpretation, and other employment-related matters under the direction of the Human Resources Department Manager. Sensitive employee matters must be handled professionally, objectively, and confidentially. Recruitment Support The Senior HR Specialist / HR Generalist will work with the Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Department Manager to support hiring across The Antwi Group. Responsibilities may include reviewing applicants, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, assisting with candidate evaluations, preparing onboarding information, and helping ensure a consistent recruitment process. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Professional experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Administration, or a related field. Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, or HR administration. Strong understanding of professional HR practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and documentation abilities. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Professional judgment and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently while collaborating with department leadership and other employees.
