Data Scientist - Onsite PositionGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Scientist - Onsite position with a global financial institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ; or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are seeking a Data Scientist to design, develop, evaluate, and monitor AI/ML models that support enterprise Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions. This role is responsible for creating clear and thorough model documentation to support governance, validation, approval, and audit requirements. The ideal candidate combines hands-on data science and coding expertise with strong analytical, documentation, and operational discipline to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant AI solutions.Responsibilities:Define and implement AI and cybersecurity controls for Copilot and Copilot Studio solutionsDesign AI/ML solutions with enterprise scalability and security-by-design principlesEstablish monitoring frameworks to track model and solution performanceDevelop evaluation and testing approaches for Copilot and Copilot Studio use casesCreate and maintain scalable governance processes for AI solutionsImplement controls for data access, grounding sources, prompt usage, and user permissionsPartner with platform, security, and engineering teams to define guardrails for production AI deploymentsSupport the design of reusable prompt, orchestration, and agent patterns in Copilot StudioEnsure solutions are designed for operational resilienceDefine standards for lifecycle management of Copilot and Copilot Studio assetsCollaborate with governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure model and agent documentation supports enterprise requirementsIdentify and mitigate risks related to model degradation and non-compliant use of enterprise data sourcesDrive adoption of best practices for responsible AIRequirements:Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AIStrong expertise in machine learning and statistical modelingStrong programming skills in Python and/or R, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorchAbility to write production-quality code, reusable components, and scalable data pipelinesExperience working with generative AI, large language models, AI assistants, or enterprise AI solutionsStrong experience with data preparation, transformation, feature engineering, and analysisStrong SQL skills, including complex querying and performance tuningProven ability to integrate models into business applications and workflows using APIsExperience with model documentation and model approval processes in regulated or controlled environmentsExperience with MLOps and model lifecycle managementFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and automation practices for AI solutionsExperience working with Azure-based AI and data services or comparable enterprise cloud platformsFamiliarity with responsible AI principles, model explainability, bias and fairness considerations, and secure data handling practicesPay range: $78.04 - $86.04 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
