The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience. This position requires working all scheduled shifts without accommodations for scheduling requests. Patient ratios on the unit are expected to be 1:4-5. Weekend coverage is required, with two weekend shifts every four weeks. Nurses may float within their specialty to meet facility needs. This role involves working in a highly collaborative team environment. Nurses will be expected to communicate frequently via mobile devices for patient care. Preferred experience includes managing various medical procedures and technologies. Nurses should be comfortable with virtual care responsibilities, including assessment and discharge education. Candidates will be working with postoperative patients coming from recovery areas. A commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork is essential.
