Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Corewell Health Family Medicine - Berrien Springs, is seeking a compassionate full-time physician to join our dedicated team of providers. New graduates are welcome to apply! This is an employed position.

Call is 1:3. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation package includes a two-year salary guarantee with the opportunity to bonus based on productivity and a starting bonus!

Appointments of 15 or 30 minutes include; acutes, follow ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, paps and pelvics, and typical primary care procedures; I & D, joint injections. The team includes 3 physicians and 2 full-time APPs. Office hours are Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends.

Fluency dictation available. We are also excited to offer Abridge, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, which allows you to focus on your patients and improve efficiency. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as our EHR. We also provide Inboxologist services. Our Inboxologists are Physician Assistants who help manage our providers inboxes, so you can focus on patient care.

Award recipients, selected through the program's application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service!

Essential Functions

• Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
• Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
• Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
• Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
• Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
• Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
• Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
• Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
• Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
