What you'll bring: Valid RN license in Illinois and current CSN certification Experience in school nursing, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 accommodations Knowledge of best practices in student health, chronic disease management, and emergency response Excellent communication and organization skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff Confidence to support all eight school sites based on evolving needs Key responsibilities: Serve as a leader and clinical resource for school-based RNs Coordinate and participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings, advocating for student health services Deliver health education and training to students and staff Develop and monitor individualized care plans for students with health needs Travel between eight school sites as required This role offers a competitive pay rate of $45-55 per hour depending on experience, recognizing your expertise and the vital role you play.
