Experience an engaging and supportive environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, FL. These contract opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time professionals and span a variety of educational campuses, with assignments determined based on your preferences and availability.

Opportunities include placements in high school, middle school, and elementary school settings, with the chance to collaborate closely with other SLPs and SLPA team members. Several roles are specialized to cover maternity leaves, offering you the flexibility to make an immediate and meaningful impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work on-site and complete required onboarding, including district fingerprinting and badge pick-up
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable managing caseloads in a K-12 setting (specific assignment may include high school, K-8, or specialty ASD and EBD units)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and performance
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams and educational meetings
• Share caseloads and work alongside other SLPs and SLPAs as assigned
• Transition between campuses as needed for coverage during maternity leaves or to fulfill full-time hours
