Float Registered Nurse (RN) - MSTELE

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00), weekdays, up to 2 weekends per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Float Registered Nurse (RN) for the MSTELE unit. The successful candidate will float between Stepdown and MedSurg units as patient volume requires. Flexibility is essential, and candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during their contract. This position requires an ASAP start.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in various units as assigned.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during transitions between units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina or multistate license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be via AHA).
• Recent experience with EMR EPIC is required.
• Must have the ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
