Magnum is hiring a Carrier Development Specialist to build carrier relationships, secure capacity, and negotiate freight rates. This role is essential to ensuring freight moves efficiently while maximizing profitability.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers to secure capacity
• Source and onboard carriers to support daily, weekly, and monthly freight needs
• Negotiate freight rates to maximize profitability
• Assign freight to carriers based on availability, lanes, and operational needs
• Diversify carrier base to ensure coverage across key lanes and markets
• Track shipments and provide updates through carrier and tracing systems
• Provide carriers with accurate load details to ensure successful pickup and delivery
• Maintain and update carrier profiles and account information
• Communicate regularly with carriers and internal logistics team members
• Develop efficient communication processes to optimize carrier utilization
