Job Title: Cable Technician
Location : St. George, SC
Pay rate: $24-28/HRCompany Summary: Our client is a proven leader in the communications industry, offering a professional level of cabling expertise to their partners. Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced and entry-level structured cabling technicians to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from ladders and lifts.Job Responsibilities :
- Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
- Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation
- Installation of cable support structures – fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
- Manual labor – moving boxes and materials around the job site
- Must be able to follow directions and learn
- Must have prior commercial new construction experience
- Must be able to work with a large team
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (Boom and/or scissor lift)
- Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
- Must be able to follow directions and learn
