Business Support Administrator

Value Drug Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the administrative functions of our wholesale distribution facility and helping ensure efficient day-to-day business operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with site leadership and cross-functional departments to support reporting, documentation, communication, scheduling, and business analysis activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support for departments across the wholesale distribution facility.
  • Assisting with reporting, document preparation, data entry, filing, and general office coordination.
  • Utilizing reporting tools, management reports, and spreadsheet models to support business analysis and decision-making.
  • Extracting, organizing, and interpreting data from internal systems and databases.
  • Documenting business processes and workflows for administrative and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying trends and assisting with projections, reporting, and budget preparation.
  • Staffing reception desk as needed.
  • Providing phone coverage and assisting with internal and external communications.
  • Preparing meeting materials, coordinating schedules, and recording meeting notes as needed.
  • Managing mail sorting, company mailings, filing systems, and electronic document storage.
  • Coordinating meetings, training sessions, conference appointments, and on-site events.
  • Supporting data collection, reporting submissions, and recordkeeping activities.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Office365, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous administrative support experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or office environment.
  • Experience with reporting systems, ERP platforms, or automated phone systems.

Competencies include:

  • Ability to perform essential duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with internal departments, customers, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and business documentation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.

Physical demands include:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers for computer and office equipment operation.
  • May occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Additional information includes:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Participation in periodic training or in-service sessions may be required.
  • Background check may be required.
