Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Pay: $25/hr - $29/hr

Location: Eureka, CA

Shift: Sunday - Thursday / 8am - 4pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist responsible for the cleaning, warehouse operations, lifting boxes, receiving and distribution of medical supplies.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and maintain medical supplies and equipment to point-of-care locations throughout the campus.
• Rotate stock and unload/un-package shipments.
• Keep point-of-care supply areas clean and organized.
• Ensure the efficient functioning of central supply and equipment inventories.
• Respond to customer supply orders for special items throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory, warehouse operations, and lifting boxes.
• Proficiency in receiving and distribution, stocking, shipping, and receiving.
• Strong inventory control and cycle counting skills.
• Expertise in material handling, order picking, and customer service.
• Knowledge of Oracle Base ERP Systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks.
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to walk quickly and efficiently and operate elevators.

Work Environment

This role is based in the hospital's basement warehouse, where you will spend 80% of your day receiving and unboxing orders in the receiving bay. The remaining 20% will involve data entry on a computer. The position requires a fast-paced work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Eureka, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
