About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Medical-Surgical nursing License: Current RN licensure Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of these solutions. Candidates may be requested to float to an equal or lesser acuity unit. Preferred experience includes telemetry.
