Job Title: First Assist RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience License: RN State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, First Assist RN Skills Assessment Must-Have: Medical history documentation, various vaccinations including COVID-19, flu, Tdap, varicella, MMR, Hepatitis B, drug screen, TB questionnaire, health statement, annual education, and background check. Description: The position involves providing assistance during surgical procedures. Candidates must hold an active RN license. The selected individual will ensure proper preparation and maintenance of the surgical area. They will assist with patient positioning and instrument handling. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient vitals during surgery. The candidate must demonstrate competency through skills assessments and testing. All required health documents must be submitted prior to beginning the role. Compliance with medical safety protocols is essential. The role will require effective communication with the surgical team. Candidates should be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A commitment to patient care and safety is paramount.
