Technical Accounting Manager Location: Milton, MA Schedule: 4 days in office Compensation: Up to $150,000 base salary + 10% bonus + benefits A well‑established consumer‑focused organization is seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to support complex accounting matters, policy development, and financial reporting initiatives. This role offers strong visibility, cross‑functional exposure, and the opportunity to influence accounting decisions in a dynamic environment. Position Overview The Technical Accounting Manager will serve as a key technical resource, responsible for researching accounting guidance, preparing position memos, and supporting accurate and compliant financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Research and interpret US GAAP related to new transactions, initiatives, and business changes Prepare technical accounting memoranda and support accounting policy documentation Assist with adoption and implementation of new accounting standards Partner with FP&A, Tax, and external auditors on complex accounting matters Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including disclosures Qualifications Strong background in technical accounting and financial reporting Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting concepts Experience working with auditors and cross‑functional stakeholders Public accounting experience and CPA preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Why This Opportunity This Technical Accounting Manager role offers a blend of technical depth and business partnership, competitive compensation, and a flexible in‑office schedule near Boston. #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
