Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs efficiently and accurately
- Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues quickly and determine necessary repairs
- Assist with vehicle alignments, tire services, and mechanical inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs and maintenance tasks with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in vehicle inspections for safety compliance and identify potential mechanical issues early
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Proven mechanic experience with hands-on work involving vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Familiarity with automotive service tools, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine service tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
