About the Opportunity:

• Support tasks such as Picking, Packing/Auditing, Loading, Replenishment, Cycle Counting, and Receiving/Put away functions
• Interacts with Supervisor, Coordinators, Inbound, Inventory control, and Outbound staff to reconcile open issues
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Do:

• Openly and actively, communicate internally through the respective Dept., and externally with every other department.
• Ensure communication with all peers in a polite and professional manner
• Report all equipment, order, location, inventory, or process issues to the designated team member.
• If in doubt, talk to your lead, supervisor, coordinator, or all the above as needed.
• Follow the open-door policy, informing your chain of command with your issue, and if unhappy with the answer presented, request a conversation at the next level.
• Directly responsible for ensuring a clean and clear work area for teammates to fully perform their job duties and our expectations.
• Actively provide feedback to leads, trainers, supervisors and managers on all daily incidents, good and bad.

• Monitor your work performance, to develop sense of pride in your work and sense of urgency.

• Become authority on key metrics and how they are derived and ensure you understand how you will be measured.

• Address Ineffective or counterproductive processes
• Monitors the stock levels and reports on discrepancies and status, in support of the
  replenishment and planning processes.
• Aligns external supply with customer demand to optimize inventory levels and minimize
  handling and transportation costs.
• Works in support of logistics and transportation services, with the customer in mind.  
• Maintains inventory by location for accuracy, safe handling, and accessibility.
• Supports inventory accuracy and cycle counting measures in support of warehouse
  metrics.
• Participates in and supports other pertinent activities needed in support of warehouse
  operations as needed.
• Performs other tasks that are related-to and in support-of warehouse and distribution
  functions.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in direct operations
• 2+ years of experience in Assembly
• 3+ years of experience in Material Handling in Stand-Up Dock Truck, Order/Stock Picker, Sit down Forklift, Tugger/Cart, Walkie Rider.
• 3+ years of experience in material handling, warehousing, shipping & receiving,
  and storeroom functions.

What Sets You Apart:

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and team focus
• Knowledge of SAP and/or PKMS Warehouse Management System.
• Must be able to maintain forklift certification
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified or easily capable of being certified to operate various types of material handling
  equipment.
• Familiarity with office PCs, MS Office software, and RF barcode scanning equipment
• Clean driving record
• Warehouse management or order entry systems experience (SAP or Oracle, etc).
• Materials inspection, product quality or defect or damage detection.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and safe equipment use 

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
• Lifting up to 50 lbs during kitting and unit monitoring tasks.
