Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients by gathering necessary information through remote interactions, evaluating their needs related to mental health, substance abuse, and domestic challenges. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services, remaining calm and empathetic while supporting clients through high-stress situations. \n
- Engage clients in beneficial activities that promote recovery and personal growth, fostering their participation in treatment programs. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records and prepare detailed reports that contribute to ongoing treatment plans and evaluations. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making timely referrals to additional services or agencies that can support client recovery. \n
- Participate in regular training, supervision meetings, and cross-functional team collaborations to enhance skills and maintain high-quality service delivery. \n
- Be vigilant in identifying signs of neglect or abuse, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable clients. \n
This role focuses on serving clients dealing with various social and psychological issues, including neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and parental substance abuse. You will support a diverse population of individuals and families, requiring an understanding of the unique challenges faced by each client demographic.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical social worker, specifically in a mental health or substance abuse setting, is required. \n
- A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory. \n
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is required for this position. \n
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and other professionals. \n
- Proficiency in organizational and planning skills to manage multiple cases concurrently while documenting comprehensive client records. \n
- Knowledge of developmental needs and specialty issues for various age groups and populations. \n
