Position: Director, US Tax

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is currently recruiting for an experienced  Director, US Tax.  This role is fully responsible for   managing the company's tax compliance and reporting processes, while leading the Tax team to ensure accurate and timely filing of all corporate tax returns.  This is a high profile position that will provide expert guidance and support on tax planning and strategy. You will also be responsible for overseeing the tax provision and reporting process, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's tax compliance (direct and indirect) and reporting processes, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors
• Provide guidance and support on tax planning and strategy to optimize the company's tax position
• Oversee the tax provision and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax laws and regulations
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to the company's tax policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on complex tax issues
• Prepare and present tax-related reports and analysis to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and SOX requirements related to tax processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification - a must
• 10 years Corporate Tax Experience (Direct & Indirect)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial / leadership role
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax planning and strategy development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Excel.
