What youll be doing: * Serve as the primary medical and scientific strategic lead supporting psychiatry/neurology -focused clinical study opportunities, including business development and proposal support, and bid defense meetings.* Act as the go to medical expert in relevant therapeutic areas, providing expert medical and scientific input on clinical development programs for both internal teams and external customers.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute on study design, protocol development, and patient recruitment strategies.* Provide strategic medical and scientific input for psychiatry/neurology -related consulting projects.* Drive awareness of Premiers leadership in the psychiatry/neurology space by participating as a SME in marketing activities and scientific engagement opportunities. What we are searching for: * An MD with a board certification in psychiatry/neurology and at least 3-5 years of clinical practice experience.* A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in the clinical development, preferably within a sponsor organization.* Expert-level knowledge of psychiatry/neurology (see above) drug development (device experience is a plus) and GCP regulations.* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.* A strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to upholding industry ethics and scientific standards.

Premier Research is dedicated to providing compensation that is fair and competitive with market standards. The annualized starting base pay for this role is $275,000.00 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
