Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. You will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data while ensuring patient comfort.

To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

• Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct M-Mode, 2D, color flow Doppler, stress echos, and transesophageal echos (TEE); prepare patients, report significant findings to physicians, and administer IV contrast or pharmaceutical agents as directed.

• Maintain Equipment & Operational Accuracy: Inspect and troubleshoot echo equipment, manage supply efficiency, and accurately track procedural logs, billing charges, and productivity reports.

• Leadership, Communication & Training: Coordinate care across clinics, hospitals, and outreach services, foster a collaborative team environment, facilitate scheduling of sufficient personnel for efficient clinic activities, and serve as a preceptor for training cardiovascular ultrasound technicians.

• Administrative & Management Support: Assist with updating policy and procedure manuals, support the Cardiovascular Administrator with capital budget development, and provide learning opportunities for outreach programs.

• Professional Development: Participate in continuing education programs and maintain required Continuing Medical Education credits (10 CME hours/year or 30 every 3 years).

We are offering a sign on bonus up to $15000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder program as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.

Job Requirements

Required

• Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics. and Five years experience as Echocardiographic technologist, upon hire and

• Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours of in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or

• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Pay Range

$31.53 - $46.90 /hour
