About the Position

Job Title: RN Pediatrics Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in pediatric surgery - Proficient in electronic health record documentation - Strong communication and collaboration skills Description: Deliver Operating Room Registered Nurse care by providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient surgical workflows and high-quality clinical outcomes. Perform circulating nurse responsibilities by monitoring patient status, documenting care in the Electronic Health Record, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Provide scrub nurse support by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons to promote procedural efficiency and patient safety. This is a Trauma Level 1 Pediatric Facility with 14 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms. Candidates must be proficient in Cerner charting system.
