Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized training or significant experience in foot and ankle surgery to become part of our collaborative, mission-focused team. Dynamic Surgical Practice

• Engage in a fulfilling variety of orthopedic trauma cases, including hip and ankle fractures, as well as intricate foot and ankle procedures, such as ankle arthroplasties.
• Benefit from comprehensive support from midlevel providers and residents.

Academic Excellence

• Instruct and guide orthopedic residents from the University of Arizona.
• Participate in interdisciplinary academic initiatives and explore opportunities for research and medical education collaboration.

Outstanding Colleagues & Support

• Collaborate with three other skilled orthopedic surgeons and a proficient team of six mid-level professionals along with an orthopedic resident.
• Practice in a state-of-the-art facility, a 295-bed "Flagship" Joint Commission-accredited level 1a teaching hospital situated on a tranquil 150-acre campus.
• Access premier medical resources in the region, including a 24-hour emergency department, regional centers of excellence, advanced mental health services, and specialty care.

Reside and work in Tucson, known for its pleasant winters, outdoor activities, vibrant arts scene, rich culture, and exceptional cuisine. Provide direct clinical care and perioperative management for orthopedic trauma, with a focus on foot and ankle surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and educate within a thriving academic setting.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across the VA and community partners.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee activities.
• Utilize cutting-edge resources and contribute to program development.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Benefits and Compensation

• Highly Competitive Salary: Ranging from $325,000 to $400,000 annually, along with performance bonuses and regular salary increases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in foot and ankle surgery, including arthroplasty, is highly preferred.
