Electrical General Foreman
Location: Tonopah, NV Area
Pay: $41.00/hr
Per Diem: $770/week
Schedule: 60 hours/week (6x10s)
Project Duration: Approximately 2 Years
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead crews on a large-scale industrial construction project near Tonopah, Nevada. This role will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, coordinating manpower and resources, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
This is a remote, outdoor industrial project focused on the refurbishment of an existing facility and construction of a new plant. Candidates with heavy industrial experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electrical crews performing high, medium, and low-voltage electrical installations
- Oversee underground and above-ground conduit installation activities
- Manage cable tray installation and switchgear installation projects
- Direct cable pulling operations with crews of 12+ electricians and wire pullers
- Oversee cable terminations for high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage systems
- Coordinate electrical startup and commissioning activities
- Read, interpret, and execute work from construction drawings and project specifications
- Plan daily work activities and ensure crews are meeting production goals
- Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce all jobsite safety requirements
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials with field leadership and project management
- Train and mentor electricians and foremen while maintaining quality workmanship standards
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman
- Experience supervising crews of 12 or more employees
- Strong knowledge of:
- High-voltage electrical systems
- Medium-voltage electrical systems
- Low-voltage electrical systems
- Underground conduit installation
- Above-ground conduit installation
- Rigid conduit installation
- Cable tray installation
- Switchgear installation
- Cable pulling operations
- Electrical terminations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience leading large industrial electrical projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside project leadership and craft personnel
Experience with:
- Heavy industrial construction
- Power generation facilities
- Mining facilities
- Industrial manufacturing plants
- Large-scale process facilities
Candidates from industrial contractors such as MMR, Turner Industries, KBR, TIC, and similar organizations are highly encouraged to apply.
Project Details- Project located approximately 1.5 hours outside Tonopah, NV
- Transportation provided from Tonopah to the jobsite
- Workday begins onsite at 6:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM
- Transportation departs Tonopah around 4:15-4:30 AM and returns around 6:00 PM
- All work is performed outdoors in a remote industrial environment
- Site elevation is approximately 7,000 feet
- Winter weather conditions, including snow, should be expected
- Limited services available at the project site
- $770 weekly per diem
- Long-term 2-year project stability
- Computer hardware provided for foreman roles if needed
- Company provides specialty precision instruments and surveying equipment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
