State Estimation and Navigation Engineer

What you'll do: Develop and tune state-estimation algorithms for GPS-denied and GNSS-degraded navigationImplement visual-inertial odometry (VIO), lidar/vision-aided INS, and multi-sensor fusion approaches Integrate state-estimation solutions with IMU, camera, lidar, and other onboard sensorsValidate navigation performance through simulation, bench testing, and field testingAnalyze test data to identify and resolve navigation performance issuesCollaborate with perception, controls, and test teams to ensure robust navigation across a range of operating conditions What you need: Background in GN&C;, robotics, or a related technical fieldStrong proficiency in C++ and PythonExperience with VIO/SLAM techniquesExperience with EKF or factor-graph-based sensor fusionExperience integrating IMU, camera, and lidar sensors into a navigation stackBonus Qualifications: Experience with PX4 or ArduPilot EKFHands-on experience with GPS-denied navigation testingBackground in subscale aircraft or robotics navigationArcher is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to job applicants with physical or mental disabilities, and those with sincerely held religious beliefs.
