Your Mission – What You'll Achieve

• Execute routine and complex clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, all while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for veracity, address discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are maintained with preventative care and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing to guarantee accurate outcomes.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining lab quality assurance standards.
• Create a safe and organized work environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent health-related degree along with the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Keep certification current throughout the duration of your employment.
