Field Equipment Technician

Job Description Job Description HiFyve is hiring a Field Service Technician in the heavy equipment industry! Salary: $35-$43/hr Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift (service truck and field-based role) Location: Columbia, SC Job Duties and Responsibilities * Repair and maintain heavy equipment and components, including diagnostics, repair planning, and quality assurance testing. * Identify and order necessary parts, materials, and tooling through the company's system. * Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably. * Complete detailed service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner. * Safely operate and maintain company service truck, tools, and fuel cards. * Maintain work area and/or service vehicle in a clean and safe condition. * Communicate repair progress with supervisors and follow all safety and company policies. * Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Education Requirements * High School Diploma/GED * Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology, or 4 years of apprenticeship experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills * Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment * Ability to work independently in the field and handle varied repair tasks * Strong communication and organizational skills * Commitment to working safely in challenging environments If you are interested, please apply!
