We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. If you are passionate about orthodontics, enjoy working in a supportive environment, and want to contribute to exceptional patient care, PhD Orthodontics is the place for you.
TitleRegistered Dental Assistant
Job DescriptionAssist orthodontists chairside during procedures, including braces placement, adjustments, and removals
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Manage patient records and update treatment documentation accurately
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and answering patient questions
Support infection control protocols and adhere to safety regulations
Coordinate appointment scheduling and assist with front office tasks as needed
Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction
Salary Rangepart-time $20 - $28 per hour

Shift & ScheduleMonday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Wednesday & Sunday: Closed
RequirementsCurrent Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification required
Knowledge of chairside assisting techniques and orthodontic procedures
Ability to take and develop dental X-rays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
PreferencesExperience in orthodontic assisting preferred but not mandatory
