Oracle Apps/EBS Technical Developer

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Bethesda-based professional services firm who will report to a BroadPoint Federal Program Manager. He or she will be an integral part of a team that is responsible for continuing the operations, development, implementation, integration, maintenance, including software updates, configuration management, program management, transition, and support efforts. The individual selected to fill this position must be a responsible, results-oriented individual with a passion for detail and achievement. The Oracle EBS Developer is responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to follow CMMI Level 3. Responsibilities Implement Oracle Financials Applications including User Requirement Study, Analysis, Solution Design, Development, Implementation, Set Up, Testing, Customization, Upgrades, Maintenance and production Support. Meet with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules. Design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents. Support and execute all technical activities in compliance with CMMI Level 3. Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule. Ability to research and address client inquiries and emerging issues. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Financials R12/R11 and Oracle databases. Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions). Ability to provide technical support for Oracle Federal Financial modules that include INV, OM, AP, AR, GL, PO and FedAdmin. Monitor and support Production data interfaces between the core Oracle Federal Financials application and external federal systems pertaining to travel, contracts and procurement. Experience with EDI Interfaces, using X12 standards. Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development. Experience with shell/Perl scripting. Knowledge of Control M. Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required. Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor. Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines. Provide operational support in Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financial Modules on a daily basis. Troubleshoot and resolve the technical issues reported by users. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Highly Desirable: Familiarity with Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM. Education: 4 Years college degree in Accounting/Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with ERP system development role in Oracle EBS / Oracle Cloud. A proven track record in system implementation for Supply Chain Modules (MSCA/WMS) and related modules/applications. 4-6 full lifecycle implementations in any of the above.
