Senior Software Developer

Salary: $95,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of full-time professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js; experience with Spring Boot, .NET Core, Django, or Express is a plus
• Experience building or using REST APIs
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Bachelors degree in a technical field
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance
• Willingness to relocate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing work
• Ability to work as a W-2 employee through SkillStorm; this is not a contract-to-contract opportunity
• Consulting or client delivery experience, Agile/Scrum experience with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, web UI development, test automation, or exposure to AI coding tools are beneficial but not required

• Complete six weeks of paid, team-based AI engineering training focused on real-world projects
• Build and deploy agentic AI applications in client cloud environments
• Lead a client-facing capability from problem definition through deployment and handoff
• Collaborate with client engineers and stakeholders within their environments, tools, and constraints
• Translate ambiguous business needs into scoped specifications and sound technical architecture
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and create AI-enabled capabilities that support client missions
• Establish reusable engineering practices, including reference implementations, coding standards, and review processes
• Update client stakeholders on progress, tradeoffs, and risks, and create durable documentation
