Radiation Therapist job at Emergitel HR Solutions. Miles City, MT. Job Description: Job Title:Radiation Therapist Location:2600 Wilson Street, Miles City, MT 59301. Shift Schedule:5x8hr day shifts. Duration:13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs).. Pay Rate:$80/hr per hour on a W2. Responsibilities: Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the oncologist’s prescription. Simulate patients for treatment planning, and set up immobilization devices and positioning aids. Verify and document prescribed dose, treatment parameters, and equipment settings. Provide patient education on treatment procedures and care instructions. Monitor patient reactions and report any unusual conditions to medical staff. Accurately document treatment information, including doses, instructions, diagrams, and billing data. Maintain treatment room cleanliness and equipment readiness. Support safety and quality control measures, participating in ongoing process improvement. Coordinate effectively with the radiation oncology team to ensure high-quality care. Skills/Experience Needed: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist. Proficiency in treatment simulation and operation of therapy equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety principles. Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills. Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required. Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy [RT(T)] is required. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
